I’ve not made any new friends lately in my life Any new cities, any real surprise Only twelve years are not supposed to be the road Only my fears can stop me from taking off I’ve not been alone for so long, I almost lost it all Haven’t had the right to be bored or to be slow anymore In this desert land I’m sure I won’t be bothered This is my first morning away and I don’t want to waste it I’m ready for a change the old days are gone

I once dreamt I’d be everywhere Endless snake dragging along lands I could choose anything I was the master of the roads and the adventures and the trips Certainly, I knew who I was I was free from my own art I was covered in candy wrap I could shine when all was dark I could jump and climb and swim And I could feel like a hero of the oldest German books Cause I was the number one, I was fearless and bright
4.
Same things in different hours have a different effect And all that I felt yesterday at night doesn’t make any sense right now There was way too much Moon and I couldn’t think clear And your lips became what I most crave Red balloons wandering in the air I was sure I wanted to go, hear that beat in the dark Find you deeper that I could ever imagine Heading straight through your mouth and eyes A flood of weariness invaded me Lazy thoughts, loser hopes, killing my soul You also know this monster, stealing it all Opium eyes staring all around
5.
I want to get closer and closer and closer And see how it changes and see how it flows A gasp, think I can grab it but it slips away Moments of joy, when the sky fell upon us And we left the town at the break of dawn And the infinite road, relieving my soul But this is only for a bit All we can reach in this life All we can reach in this life
6.
I hear odd whispers in my room I am taken again My night devours my day There’s a spell upon me Something I feel, not see His fragrance fills the room Like a wave washed over me I am not alone I cannot see him but he prowls around Yesterday I felt someone leaning on me, Sucking out my life from my lips with his mouth Have I lost my mind? No one else is on the Moon If this keeps going on I’d rather dig my tomb Palpitation heart, He came into my dreams Can’t I see? Am I blind? Is there more than meet my eyes? I don’t want to step outside. I can’t go back to bed ‘Cause I know that he’s around. And he will choke me to death Didn’t you want mystery, strangeness in your life? I am sure that there is someone here, missing from my eyes!

Like a blurry sign, slowly disappearing in the mist Like a distant point, when you turn your back for the last time Like the lucid instinct you once had before the anguish pulled it out Like the tender body you get cruelly given just to be stripped out when you get used to it We lose our mångata x 4 What are the days for if we forget how to look back and learn about it? Just to make us feel more overwhelmed with all the weight we bear on us? We had a great chance ahead of us but now is gone and couldn’t catch it That was our life, quietly sinking down the past, in the void of time We lose our mångata x 4

It’s time to walk, through this wasted land away from things I know. I had a glimpse of you, and I thought about the things that made you fade away from me I still want to explore old things Like the way my soul was dying when you looked at me. But right now I’m on the Moon and there’s nothing like the color of your eyes.
