It’s time to walk, through this wasted land away from things I know.
I had a glimpse of you, and I thought about the things that made you fade away from me
I still want to explore old things
Like the way my soul was dying when you looked at me.
But right now I’m on the Moon
and there’s nothing like the color of your eyes.

This is some great music for a morose, rainy day. Lush, sedate, bluesy, and with a certain apocalyptic flair, most evident on White Horses, which sounds very much like a psychedelic blues dirge.
I appreciate that the songs sometimes lose themselves along the way, giving way to some beautiful psych explorations. I also enjoy the vocals on this - they sometimes waver, but they fit the music so well. Smekermann

I was in heaven all day listing to this band. I haven't falling for a band this hard, since I found Led Zep in the early 70s. ASSUME! I NEED MORE! Rory MacKenzie
Dreamy, intricate guitar pop from Oakland's Absent City; splashes of accordion, sitar, lap steel, and mandolin add textural richness. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2020
