Like a blurry sign, slowly disappearing in the mist
Like a distant point, when you turn your back for the last time
Like the lucid instinct you once had before the anguish pulled it out
Like the tender body you get cruelly given just to be stripped out when you get used to it
We lose our mångata x 4
What are the days for if we forget how to look back and learn about it?
Just to make us feel more overwhelmed with all the weight we bear on us?
We had a great chance ahead of us but now is gone and couldn’t catch it
That was our life, quietly sinking down the past, in the void of time
This is some great music for a morose, rainy day. Lush, sedate, bluesy, and with a certain apocalyptic flair, most evident on White Horses, which sounds very much like a psychedelic blues dirge.
I appreciate that the songs sometimes lose themselves along the way, giving way to some beautiful psych explorations. I also enjoy the vocals on this - they sometimes waver, but they fit the music so well. Smekermann
I was in heaven all day listing to this band. I haven't falling for a band this hard, since I found Led Zep in the early 70s. ASSUME! I NEED MORE! Rory MacKenzie
